Booking Policy
Booking & Deposits
-A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date.
-Dates are not reserved until the deposit is received and confirmed.
-The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Minimums
A 2-hour minimum service is required for all events.
Guest count minimums may apply depending on the package selected
Final Guest Count
-Final guest count and menu selections are due 10 days before the event.
-Increases to guest count after this deadline are subject to availability and additional charges.
-Decreases after the deadline will not reduce the final invoice.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
-Deposits are non-refundable.
-Cancellations made 10 or more days before the event may transfer the deposit to a future date (one-time reschedule, must be used within 60 days unless discussed in writing.
-Cancellations made within 7 days of the event forfeit all payments made.
-Glee Medicinals reserves the right to cancel due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a reschedule or refund (excluding already incurred costs) will be offered.
Travel & Setup
-Events outside a 20-mile radius of Austin may incur a travel fee.
-Setup requires 1hr prior to service start time and must be included in venue access.
-Client is responsible for providing adequate space, shade (for outdoor events), and access to water if required.
Menu Customization & Allergies
-Herbal mocktails are crafted with high-quality herbs and ingredients.
-Clients must disclose all known allergies or sensitivities prior to the event.
-While we take precautions, Glee Medicinals cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Client Responsibilities
-Client is responsible for ensuring compliance with venue rules and local regulations.
-Any damages to Glee Medicinals’ equipment caused by guests or venue conditions will be billed to the client.
Wellness Disclaimer
-Herbal mocktails are intended for enjoyment and general wellness support only.
-They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
-Guests who are pregnant, nursing, or on medication should consult a healthcare provider before consumption.
Intellectual Property & Brand Use
All menus, recipes, product names, branding, written materials, and visual assets are the intellectual property of Glee Medicinals.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Glee Medicinals.
Service Time & Overage Policy
Services are provided for the duration outlined in the confirmed booking. Any additional service time requested or required beyond the contracted period is subject to staff availability and will be billed in 30-minute increments at the current overage rate.
Overage fees must be paid at the time of service or added to the final invoice.
Tips & Gratuity Policy
-Gratuity is not included in service pricing unless stated otherwise.
-For events, clients may choose one of the following gratuity options:
Tip Jar Option: A tip jar may be placed at the event for guests to contribute voluntarily. Tips are never required and go directly to the service staff.
Automatic Gratuity Option: If the client prefers not to have a tip jar present, a 25% gratuity will be automatically added to the final invoice.
The selected gratuity option must be confirmed prior to the event through the "Get a Quote" form. Once confirmed, gratuity arrangements cannot be changed on the event date.
Payment Terms & Late Payments
All payments must be made according to the agreed-upon booking or purchase terms. Failure to submit payment by the required deadline may result in delayed service, cancellation of services, or withholding of products.Any outstanding balances may be subject to late fees or collection of payment prior to the start of service. Glee Medicinals reserves the right to refuse service until full payment is received.

Force Majeure, Extreme Heat
& Weather Policy
Glee Medicinals is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, extreme heat, natural disasters, fire, flood, power outages, government restrictions, public health emergencies, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions (“Force Majeure Events”).
Extreme heat includes conditions that pose a health or safety risk due to high temperatures, heat index, or prolonged sun exposure.
If a Force Majeure Event or extreme heat makes service unsafe, illegal, or impractical, Glee Medicinals may delay, modify, relocate, or cancel services. Deposits are non-refundable. Any payments beyond the deposit may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future event within 60 days, excluding non-recoverable costs.
Outdoor Events & Indoor Backup Requirement
For all outdoor events, the client is required to provide:

Adequate shade or covered protection from sun, rain, and wind

A safe, level, and accessible setup area

An indoor backup location available at the venue in the event of extreme heat or inclement weather
If an indoor backup location is not available and conditions are deemed unsafe, Glee Medicinals may:

Delay the start of service

Modify the menu or service style
-
End service early or cancel services altogether
These decisions are made at the sole discretion of Glee Medicinals and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Retail Store Policy

All Glee Medicinals products are intended for culinary enjoyment and general wellness support only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Customers who are pregnant, nursing, have medical conditions, or are taking medications should consult a healthcare provider before use.
Ingredients & Allergies
All products are made with carefully sourced ingredients. Full ingredient lists are available. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients and disclosing any allergies or sensitivities. Glee Medicinals cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Storage & Shelf Life
Proper storage instructions are provided with each product. Glee Medicinals is not responsible for product quality once items are improperly stored or handled after purchase.
Sales, Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the consumable nature of our products:

No refunds or exchanges on teas, dehydrated fruits, or edible goods

Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of purchase with proof of purchase
Content, Photography & Advertising Policy (Events / Pop-Ups)
By booking services or attending an event hosted by Glee Medicinals, the client and guests acknowledge that photography and video recording may occur for marketing, social media, educational, and promotional purposes.
Glee Medicinals reserves the right to use images and video captured at events, including but not limited to:

Drinks and products
-
Hands, interactions, and crowd ambiance
We do not intentionally identify or single out individuals by name without consent. If a client or guest prefers not to appear in content, it is their responsibility to notify Glee Medicinals prior to the event. No compensation is provided for the use of such content.
